Today my friend Kurt found two old typewriter balls while cleaning out the choral library at Doane. Now, I'm old enough to remember typewriters (I've even used 'em!), but not old enough to remember typewriter balls. Apparently they're associated with the IBM Selectric typewriter, first introduced in 1961. Personally, I think it would make a cool necklace!
