The Wedding

Louie and I got married on October 20 (one day before my parents got married!). The ceremony took place in the Whitcomb Lee Conservatory on Doane College's beautiful campus, and the reception was at a banquet facility in Lincoln. We had a great time! Here are a few pics from the day:

The Brewer family! My aunt Tammy, dad, mom, brother Chris & his wife Kate, and my two nieces: Isabelle & Jade.
My new nieces and nephews! (minus Emmett, who must have wandered off)

Wedding Choir
And here I must pause to mention how much I LOVED this choir. It was definitely the highlight of the ceremony for me. They sang Mack Wilberg's arrangement of "The King of Love." It was just so great to see my friends up there singing (and playing--my friends Annie & Maryle played the accompanying flute duet). Moving on...

Here we are in all of our awkwardness! :-)

We had a kickin' jazz band at the reception, and all the little kids were dancing!

Cake and apple pies!

The flowers at the wedding were gorgeous...I would highly recommend Hillis & Company if you're in the Lincoln area!

Of course there were many MANY more pictures taken (about 3000, which was narrowed down to around 400!), but hopefully these give a good sense of what it was like. The true miracle of the wedding was the weather; the days leading up to the wedding were cold and windy, but that Saturday ended up being sunny and warm! In the end, we couldn't have asked for a better day, or better company to spend it with.
