The theme for this year's Christmas Festival was "On Christmas Night," taken from this verse of the Sussex Carol: "On Christmas night, all Christians sing, to hear the news the angels bring. News of great joy, news of great mirth. News of our merciful King's birth." We sang Vaughan William's "Fantasia on Christmas Carols" when I was a senior (I think); hearing it again brought back fond memories. It was also neat to hear my friend Matt Brown sing the baritone solo!
Meanwhile, this is my favorite shot from earlier in the day:
that's pretty neat!
